I don't like this at all, just in case anyone thought I did. I'm acting as the commander of Balamb Garden, not in my own interests or my friends' or family's interests, and I hate it.

You'd think I was a robot, the way they're writing about me. Not that I care about that.

Some paperwork to do, but not much. Clearing that up, and then Seifer and I are taking a vacation.

Looking forward to the week being over. Meetings at oh-eight-hundred hours every day this week. And no progress (or discernible intelligence) in any of them.

No rest for the wicked, however. Heading for Esthar at twenty-one hundred hours. And yes, Rinoa, I will be back in time to see you.

That, and this doesn't seem like a bad way to keep in contact. I suppose it'll take some time to persuade anyone else to take it up. I'll request some invite codes in case anyone else wants to join up.

For anyone who doesn't know me already: I'm Squall Leonhart. I'm a member of the mercenary force, SeeD, rank A. I'm also the Commander of Balamb Garden's forces, and I manage a fair amount of what goes on re: classes, since I know what troops and specialities we're likely to need. I don't let them keep me behind a desk, though -- they only need a commander during battle situations, which are few and far between, so now and then I still go out on missions, etc.

Now I'm feeling a little like I've gone back to my old habit of talking to myself, since Rinoa hasn't actually signed up yet. Standard Timber Owls organisation, right there...
